WE tell the story, then delve inside to elevate its meaning.
We're a London-based integrated multimedia production company specialising in documentaries, branded content, and commercials, offering film production, direction, cinematography, still photography, and post-production. Blick Gunita takes its inspiration from our countries of birth: "Blick" is Swedish for "glance", or "look", while "Gunita" is Tagalog for "memory", or "recollection".
We combine our perspectives and experiences as collaborators and friends: Hanna comes from a journalist background, with a keen eye for a strong story and the humanity behind it. Jill has a photography and writing background, moved by the poetic and its emotional potential. While we often work as a duo, we also call upon a global network of friends and colleagues who are producers, directors, cinematographers, writers, photographers, and post-production professionals to specialise in projects as needed.
A Swedish-born filmmaker, journalist, and photographer based in London and with a penchant for travel, Hanna's background includes working as a programming and broadcast editor for Swedish national public television (SVT) and as an editor for the New York division of Swedish newspaper Nordstjernan Förlag. Freelance filmmaking and commercial clients include NPR, tech startups in London, as well as news, travel, and lifestyle publications and online platforms in Sweden and in New York. Holding an MA in Documentary Film (with Distinction) from University of the Arts London - London College of Communication, and a BA in Journalism from Linnaeus University, Hanna's approach reveals the humanity behind the factual facade, creating stories that beat with a relatable heart.
